Better not send this too the East Coast !! hehe I want spring now.... Hope all is well and everyone is fine! Suzanne
We got about 3 in. and I was thinking about both of you, hope you meet in Grand Junction when I am there. Sounds like a lot of fun.
Maybe there is a reasonable hotel where we could stay for a couple of nights and a room where we could sew during that whole day....
I've been watching the news because of all the fires in Southern
California. We are hot and dry and you guys are like in the middle of winter and Florida has some flooding and storms. We just may be in
for a bumpy ride this year as far as weather is concerned.
My mom drove from Phoenix to North Dakota and says most of the snow went south but its very cold up there now. My MIL is flying to
Florida to meet the grandkids there and go to Disney. I hope it clears
out soon.
You can send me a snowball and I will send you some heat.
Hugs
Linda aka bumblebee
WOW! I sure hope it doesn't make it to the east coast:>)
I'm so glad that is where you live and not where I live. It's 68° here in Ga. at 7PM. ;)
Anangel is also in GA. You guys probably have leaves on your trees too?
Jan, we do have leaves on our trees. The Bradford pear trees now have leaves, as all the beautiful white blooms have fallen, and the azaleas of all colors are in full bloom. I must say we have had much rain (which we needed), more wind, and cooler temps than normal for this time of year! The weather pattern across the country is a bit unusual! So much for global warming, huh?? LOL
Hugs, Angel
Our snow came and melted as it landed, IF it landed. LOL
I am very glad you were not caught out driving in it. Spring will come soon -- I hope. I prefer rain in May. LOL
When I drove home from Christine's there it was snowing great big flakes on the top of Berthoud Pass. There were snow plows working, but I was just cruisin' up and down those mountains and curves. I have a Subaru. Did I tell you my license plate says BENSMOM :-)
05-02-2013 I was out cutting grass today--dodging the inch worms in the trees, and swing at the flies, when I was done, I saw the first tree frog of the spring.
WOW!!! From the news I heard about Denver getting 15 inches, is that where you are? You poor cold person. I'll bet driving was tough! Glad you are safe tho. Hugs, Judy
beautiful view to look to
We feed the wild birds and have seen lots of unusual migrating birds this year. Have you ever seen a brown capped rosy finch? They come with the snow in droves!
be careful, don't fall in the snow and try to enjoy the beauty but please stay warm, hugs Gerry
When the snow is this deep, you just kind of sink into it, not a bad fall at all. It builds up on our steel roof and then slides off in huge sheets. The first time we heard that happen we thought the house was splitting apart.
Wow! I'm wearing shorts in California. We had an early heat wave this week. It's been in the 80's.
If it was Christmas time this would be beautiful!! Enough already, right?
Enough! How about some rain!! Colorado is going to be dry this year, and a lot of the water for the reservoirs comes from our area, so we need rain now - not snow!
Oh no - can't believe it. Where do you live? Have a cousin in Minneapolis and she also wrote they are having snow again -
she says she can no more use the words "beautiful" and "snow"
combined right now
We live in the high mountains of Colorado, about 2.5 hours drive to Denver, over a high mountain pass. People around here are getting pretty grumpy about the snow. We have family on the North Shore of Minnesota!
At least you had a great day and know that Spring is here! It sure is beautiful! Down here it is already half melted, how long will it take to melt up there?
All snow is usually melted by the middle of May - usually - LOL. I loved it when we were sitting on your front porch in the sunshine with the green grass!
Glad you weren't caught in this mess. It's supposed to be spring. It's 40 degrees here in Texas. Didn't someone tell mother nature it's time to warm up
We were just starting to see some bare ground too... I think this one happened because my husband took the chains off his snow plow - Murphy's Law strikes again!
