This is a mat for inside a tray. This design is the largest (6.8 x 11.24) I have done and came with my machine. It is stitched on 100% cotton "rubber sheeting". It is the stuff used for changing pads. It does not fray, so I could just cut it, however when my seamstress shows up, an edge will be added. Lol! I found the regular foot to my machine today. A sign?

Beautiful! I have never embroidered on rubber sheeting, but I will now, Thanks.
I serge the edges of rubber sheeting in a variegated thread and give "Puddle Pads" as baby gifts. Now I will add an initial or a design.

It is wonderful no stabilizer at all. I guess I could add puddle pads to my repetoire.

That is a great idea! Why didn't I think to do that for all the trays I use? Beautiful stitchout!

Chris it is so perfect I thought it was already in the glass tray. This reminds me of trays my Nanna used to have. Great job, well done, love and blessings Chris

Of course I forgot to say it is reversible. and I was thinking of stitching the same pattern and colors on this old piece. I think it was a "store bought" towel and someone painstakenly stitch on the rickrack and drew the wheat. Maybe I should just do a wheat thing, however you know I am into the pink thing.
