I found the FSL calendar in a yahoo group and did not write it down. I got the 1 month and searched for the rest. I hope I find it soon, so I can stitch before June begins! I did not do the main color for this FSL piece because I used organza and angelina fiber with clear vinyl on top and I did not want to hide the angelina fiber. The only problem is I meant to do just the side so that I could dry it after rinsing the wss, and I forgot and stitched too far. I also have a buckle, so not perfect, but good first try.

Thank you, I know it is not Pam's, although I know she has one. I will let you know. I do not think Sewinhuggs has a yahoo group.

Love the color I can read your calendar it is very nice and as you said good first try and I think it is great you shared as it shows how and what you did. Hope you find your group for your next stitch out. Bet it is even better.

Thanks so much! I like it, too bad it won;t be useable for who knows how long again.

Great first try!
You have a very pretty calendar.
I am not brave enough to try...yet.

Why not? PM me if you want to.

Thank you, I might just do that. I am always afraid I will break something -- and right now I cannot afford another trip to the repair shop. My "extra" pennies need to be saved so I can visit friends that live just over a little hill or two. ;)

All the layers in my angelina fiber sandwich are cut by the needle liek butter. My needles last so long if all I am doing is FSL and angelina. It is when I start punching through cotton that my needle dulls. As long as you have something cover the fiber it won't go in the machine. I do not use stabilizer on the bottom, just organza.

The other reason for doing this was to test the stitching of text on organza and angelina, which was totally fine.
