Here is another doily done in cool colors. The one side hows the lime-green organza and the other has the angelina fiber. I usually do the angelina fiber on both sides, I just forgot. I like both sides, how about you? I also used metallic thread, increase the size and only stitched out 1 set (up/down, and across) of base stitching.

This design is from Starbird Stock design. I also only used the metallic on the top outline of the flower, regular poly for the rest. I think it makes the shadow effect work best. The the up/down of the base is metallic as is the circle. I have not seen it in daylight yet, however I am sure it is even more spectacular.
