Ladies! We need to discover a way for men to use the same craft supplies as us so they will be sold in the hardware store. Rather than small items being prepackaged for us (in a quantity that we really don't want or need), they would be sold in bulk out of bins with little write-on plastic bags hanging close by just like nails and screws.

I agree, I have been needing to go to the hardware store, and having my craft and sewing supplies there would get me in the door. My home improvement stores (home depot and lowes) do not offer coupons and they would have to start. At least the 1 for 40% off a regular priced item.

The shop I go to has just done that with a lot of bits and pieces like, buckles, magnetic clips etc., which has also made them more affordable as you can just buy what you need for the project and not be stuck with half a dozen when you only need one! So if you live in Brisbane the shop is at Morayfield - called Sew This & That.

wonderful idea. I get so tired of buying those small bags of items that I only need 2 or 3 of. VBS starts the first week of June and I am not ready for the craft class this year.

there is cool stuff for crafters at the hardware stores. You just have to use your imagination. Pretty cheap too. Check out Harbor freight for storage and gadgets
