QUESTION for viking 5d professional user. Is there a big difference (enough to warrent the $200.00 upgrade)

I'm unable to help you, but am interested in this subject too. I am using 4D Extra and would like to upgrade to the 5D Extra, but before deciding, would like to have more information than what is written on their brochure.

I asked myself the same question, and had a look at the tutorials HV offers. The most interesting new thing IMO is the posibility to change objects fills. However, given the price ($248.75 in Europe) I did not buy it as I think I'd rather digitise a new design than change an existing one.

Hi Michelle, I can't help you, I only have the 5D extra and am going to my first class next Tuesday to find out its capabilities. I upgraded from the 4D extra just in January. Love Chris

Hi Lidia, I'm sitting here in my lounge-room, on my new laptop, playing with all the little things it holds. How much easier it is than my large PC. Don't worry I will certainly let people know what I learn next week. Love Chris
