That put a smile on my face. No I don't have the problem with MIL but it often happens when I am in a hurry or want it to be super special. Same as when I try to leave the room while machine is running. Proof that we are more connected to our machines than we think or they to us.
I am wishing you luck and hope you can finish your project by Sunday. We can't let those machines win. :)
I am glad it made you smile. :)
It is special, to me, whenever she wants me to create something for her. With Mother's Day on Sunday and her birthday next week...I hope it all works out.
The way some machines behave -- reminds me of some of the school children I help teach. They will be good as long as you are watching and paying them the most attention. But turn your back or leave the room...disaster!
Thanks for the wishes! I think I am going to need all the help I can get. ;)
How is your relationship with the MIL? Maybe your machine is trying to tell you something... just kidding of course. Looking forward to seeing the said MIL gift...
Hugs

She likes me! That is the funny part. Anytime I have a sale at a fair or boutique -- she is the first in line to pay full price. She won't let me give her a discount either.
IF I can get all my machines to "play nice" then I hope to have it done by her birthday next week.
Not a problem I have anymore but yes I know what you mean
I am glad you understand. I can make things for other people...just not for her.
It happens to me when I'm sewing for somebody the first time and want everything to be perfect....serger, sewing machine or embroidery machine doesn't matter.
