If you can -- find out if it is a hardware issue or the software. I would love to know more... What brand was the Laptop?
So sorry to hear of the problem you have had. Has the crash been caused by the Windows software or the laptop itself, do you know? As frustrating as this is, at least you have the peace of mind knowing that it will be put right. Hope that it gets sorted soon.
I have heard so much bad stuff on the windows 6...even from computer gurus...i just bought DESKTOP. last one of the windows 7 they had..yea

that's the same reason my husband bought 2 month ago one the the last windows 7 laptops :)
Glad your designs are backed up. Sorry to hear about the new computer crashing. My husband hated Windows 8 as soon as he heard aobut it.
