Did you know that Grandma Moses did not become an artist until the age of 53. That was when she started the Nickname happened later and she worked into her 80's. Her real name is Forrester sp?.

Wish I could have met her. This made me think of my Grandmother. She went to collage art in her fifties became an art teacher at a Christian School. Also taught weaving made her own designed patterns was in Artist Guild She did Weaving into her late 80s was honored by Guild . I have always enjoyed all art. I am in fifties not ashamed of my age as I am going to get as old as I can. I hope I can do half as well as my GM. or this GM Moses. Thanks for sharing.
