Truly inspirational Susan, your grand-daughter will absolutely love all of these outfits. Well done! Love and blessings Chris
she is going to love them, but only we know how much work you have done. They are extraordinary.
Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Because I had two sons, apart from a few action man outfits, these are the first girly clothes I have made. The crotchet outfits were based on the bodice pattern in link. The second link is for the mermaid tail. The pinky/purple outfit is all crocheted with the dress part made of a ribbon yarn. The boots were based on a sock pattern I found on the web with the same frill as the dress. The bride's veil is a circle of netting edged with string of small pearls attached with a beading foot for my overlocker. Her tiara is a FSL heart shape turned upside down. I wrapped this around a loop of elastic and stitched the veil to that. I made a fabric bodice for the bride with ribbon straps and just added a semicircle of fabric for the dress.
wow this is very clever of you! I love them thank you for the links I will see if I can do them too! ;)
Wow, I love them and would love the purple outfit in my own wardrobe.
WOW these are all fantastic! they are wonderful! I am glad that I inspired you I just wih that I could do this much this well! where ever did you find the patterns for them? ;) Hugs Loralye
Beautiful clothes. Your grand daughter is a lucky little girl!
Well done. Looks like Barbie will be better dressed than me!
Wow! Looks like they were made by a professional! I just love the dress with the ruffles. How did you edge that organza veil?
The Boots! How did you attached the crochet to the fabric, I have so many questions! The mermaid. You know your stuff! Gorgeous, totally enjoyed seeing all the pieces. Thanks
