This tiny UK wild flower is called Stitchwort - do you think we should adopt it?

Like have an official flower, official animal, official herb? Maybe. Do the British feel differently about -wort flower names than Americans? I think they deserve a better sounding name. Lungwort got it doubly bad! I love the little-bloomed and herbal looking flowers!

I like it! The double petal for top and bottom threads and I thought "wort" meant weed in German, but it means word. It is "stitching word" which if I had an Native American Indian Name I would like "StitchingWort". In English it means "used in combination, and -- I am taking this directly from the audioenglish.org... when talking about plants, it means lacking a permanent stem, many are flowering garden plants or potherbs; some having medicinal properties; some are pests. Yep I think this flower is perfect!

We call it chickweed here, but I like YOUR name better. We do need an official flower. ;)

Our chickweed is much smaller and weedier than this.
