looks great love the attic window affect. a gift made with the heart is the best gift of all.
Hello Pam, I do look close and I think it is very nice and well done, I hope I can do such one for GD Ema in the next weeks ,
I will be satisfied if I can do it with the same appearance of your quilt.
It will be my first LOL. I'm curious to see the result but still have no idea what I'll do.
I looks lovely and I am sure his Mommy and Daddy will love it as well. You did a very loving and nice job and I think you should be proud of yourself. Nothing is ever so easy as what it looks when it it being demonstrated. Learning is an experience-master and we all keep on learning. A job well done!!
Lovely job. Don't tell where you made your boo boo's, just say thank you after all the lovely comments you will get.
Happy Stitching Brenda Lea

I did look closely

You made it with love and that's all that counts.. I'm afraid to try but you did so props to you. Great job
First of all--there are no Quilt Police! You made this with love in your heart, and it is beautiful. I love those bears. Sewing is an ongoing learning experience, and I, for one, am always finding new ways to do something. Give yourself a pat on the back, and keep on creating.

It's PERFECT! It is a labor of love, it doesn't get any better. I tell each family member I give a quilt to that this is in case you need any of my DNA at any time. You can get it from either source: blood, sweat, tears and probably a hair or two in between the layers. Be proud- seriously.
I think you did a great job and I bet it will be loved just as much as the much loved bears you embroidered on it. The quilted blocks are lovely too.
Is it in one piece? Then it works! This might be the one he loves till he is in college! lol! Congratulations on completing your 1st quilt!
Your quilt is wonderful. Everyone who makes a quilt can find flaws with it. But for your grandson, it will be a treasure. Why? Because it was filled with love as you constructed it!! Do not be ashamed of your work. Quilting, by its very nature, is to put something together to make something out of bits and pieces. Your hand touched each and every detail of that quilt, and he will treasure it forever more! It looks durable enough that he will be able to take it outside for play, will be able to construct tents with it, and it will be a perfect cape when he becomes a super hero! I think you did a great job!!!
Your quilt looks adorable!!! When I started to learn how to quilt, I was told if you can't see a mistake when you ride by on a galloping horse it doesn't count. Your grandson will treasure it.
Your quilt is adorable! No one is ever as critical about a quilt as the quilter.
i think it looks just fine and i am sure the little bubba wont notice any mistakes but you are correct in saying a tape measure just will not do. happy quilting in the future thanks for sharing
I cannot see anything other than a quilt made from love by Granma.. as a sewer you will allways see the imperfections but to others it is perfect, well done especially for your first quilt, your design choice and placement are lovely...Thanks for sharing Marian
Pam, this quilt is wonderful....if there are any imperfections, that just adds to the character of the piece......great job!!
Couldn't resist peeking up close, hehehe, delightful quilt; love the satin...
Don't be so hard on yourself Pam, looks alright to me and I am sure you grand child will love it. As you said it was your first attempt and at least you gave it a go and made it with LOVE, that's what counts. Remember practice makes perfect. Margaret

Pam this is beautiful and I am sure his mother is delighted with your work. Love the designs that you have chosen
Your designs are so cute. It may not be as perfect as you wanted, but I think it will be something that he will always keep because his very own grandmother made it for him with love in every stitch.
Quilts like these are very special. We all have our special quilts!
