I have been informed that i am to be GG Grandma.

and i lay here thinking of how to make a nice special quilt'
I am already halfway through making a hexagonal puffy quilt for a friends G daughter so want to make something different this time, but what????
MMM thinking cap on,
Remember several years ago when stenciling rooms was all the rage? well i purchased a magazine that gave you a free stencil with each issue and i remember that one of them was for a teddy in six pieces. Head, body two arms two legs, This was so you could stencil the teddy dancing along the wall placing his arms and legs in different positions.
I am going hunting tomorrow to find him, he will make a great pattern for applique on blocks
yep dancing teddies sounds good to me, may be kicking a ball along and holding a kite,,
will have to see how that pans out in the light of day
But. those stencils hold an awful lot of ideas so if you have any hidden away grab them and re size them and have fun,
annie in the UK at 3.30 am thinking of getting up and having a shower to see if that will help me rest. mind you i just fancy cheese on toast and a nice cup of tea.

Congratulations Annie. Is this the first one? I love being a Great-Grandma. My only difficulty was thinking of my son as a grandfather. Ha, ha.
I hope your creative mind will give you a brake so you can get some sleep.
Hugs Angie

A quick figure, it's very possible to be a GG grandmother at the young age of 64, so ignore my question enjoy the new comer when he arrives!
