My pleasure... no, really, I had tremendous fun looking at those tutorials but this one really caught my eye...

This would be the ultimate 'safety' cover with the pieces of cut binder cover inserted into the lining.
Very feminine with the fabric flowers, too. I'd be too lazy to do that but I can sit here and enjoy them.

Can't help but I am looking for something similar because DiLaw has just purchased an E-reader, and I would like to give her a pouch for it.
Are you meaning that you want embroidery over the entire cover?
Or, are you meaning that you want a pattern for a cover for your Ipad which you will then embroider before making it up?
There are a lot of free patterns available, e.g. ...

and ....

Actually I Googled 'free pattern Ipad cover' and found some great patterns.
But..... if you are only wanting an embroidery design it might come down to your personal interest and the size and style of design you want to use. Anything goes, really, but for me I'd probably choose a stylised elegant corner design, maybe Jacobean, but definitely elegant so that I could live with it a little bit longer.
OTOH - when DH was in hospital and I only had my little Elna Lotus for patchwork sewing, I made him a bag for his Sudoku book and pencil with a printed fabric rooster on the front and rooster and hen on the back and then built the little pictures up to size with log cabin style strips - it's mainly rich red colours. He just loves it.

oh my! that first link is fantastic. Yes I want to make the complete cover, was hoping to get one for ITH but it seems I may just have to measure my pad and make it from scratch. Yes I definitely want to put embroidery design on front cover...I also have now seen some at Moose B Stitching. It is getting a pattern design to fit my pad in and not being too tight of a fit. I did email someone (forget who) and it was too small for my pad. she could not guarantee the size which is honest for me. and just looked at second link it is great to. I think there was one in Embroidery Library projects also to d/l the idea of making one. thanks Almag I appreciate your help. Hugs Kerry
Hey, Vickiannette, this Sudoku bag was made about six years ago when DH had a hip replacement in Warrnambool.
Now, I'd have to sneak it away from him, wash it, iron it, photograph it and post it in Projects.....that's a Lot of Ideas all in the one sentence.
I want to get him an iPad/tablet/thing so he can stay in bed on a cold, wet, wintery morning and play his Mahjongg game, and then I'll have to make him a padded bag for that. He's so much against technological progression and having to learn how to drive the new gadgets, it's going to be a difficult and very sneaky venture.
