Hello CUTE family: I have been away for so long that many of the newbies will not even know of me. I just wanted to let the few who might remember me - that I am now online and have my PC up and running in my new apartment - I am struggling to get around without a car - but know that one day - I will get another. Shirlene, I have also been away from the community. Glad you have an apartment. Be strong & safe. I flew to FL late last year as my son-in-law was threatning to kill his son my GS. My daughter heard the threat & phoned me & I told her to ask her son to go to the shops with her, he did, so she took him straight to the police then to a lawyer & into court the next day. She was advised to return to Australia with her son. I went over to help pack. Trish & Jason are staying in my home & I'm doing sightseeing in Western Australia. at times I don't have internet. Glad you are safe. One of my foster girls was not soo lucky. her ex broke into her home 3 months after the split & stabbed her. He is now in jail for another 20 years with no parole. I am so happy to read your post! Glad that almost everything is under control. I think it is better using public transportation, I am spending sometime with my parents, do not have a car here, so I am using the buss, I go every where I want and no woriness about gas or a police to stop you just have the buss schedule and plann ahead. happy to read your post.

Dear Dolly,

That would cause absolute havoc with my lifestyle, not being able to drive. I have classes to attend, appointments to go to, grand-children to collect and take to and from pre-school, mother to take to appointments etc. (and her dog to the vets sometimes), and of course shopping, etc. etc. etc.

I had no idea that women didn't drive in Saudi Arabia.

I've just looked it up on Google and have seen what it is like. Maybe one day legislation will change. At least you have lots to keep you occupied. Love and blessings Chris

Thanks - I didn't know that there was a button on the back of the PC - that you had to check - once it was pushed - the PC came on right away and I connected to the Inernet and haven't been off since - but leaving now. Hehehe! If I could get a visit out of you - that would be fun. I will try to come around more often. I will check your projects this weekend. HUGS!
