Bib and bapron

Used some remnants to make these. The fronts are made from the back of one of my SiL's discarded shirts, the backs from two different scraps of flanel. I only had a small amount of biastape left, so I lined the bapron instead of binding it.

Very nice, I love it!!! I like to repurpose things like that too, why not, as new fabric is no longer available in our store at walmart, closest fabric shop is 50 miles away. I've not seen ric rac with decorations on it, it is so nice too!!!

Very nice work. Lining the bapron would have save some fiddly work also instead of battling with bias binding... Lynx

Only fiddly part is leaving an opening for the second part of the strip for the arms, turn the bapron and shove the strip in the opening, top stitch and then stitch the ties and bind the neck in one go. I must say I prefer the usual way they are done, it adds more colour.

So cute both bibs. Love the lined idea and the trim on teddy bib with the applique look of the moose's. I had to zoom in and saw they are stitched. Such a cute design.

Thank you. I made that moose design for my daughter who needed it for a gift with a nice children's plate and cup set. (see http://www.cuteembroidery.com/887...) Thought it deserved to be stitched more than that single time..

They turned out very pretty and I like the designs you used. Doesn't it make you feel good to use up fabric like that.
