Absolutely lovely! It should bring in a lot of money!!! The work involved is mind boggling. I think the border fabric is especially effective. Congratulations on such a beautiful group project.
Hi Lyn, this is gorgeous. I love the delicacy of Fuchsias, they always look like dainty ballerinas. I just love the intracy of the borders!!! Lots of work in this!!! Love and blessings Chris
Thanks Chris. Seeing as I am the only one with an Embroidery machine and lots of Fuchsia patterns I was the one to do all the Fuchsias. The rest is Fuchsia Fabric that we all bought years ago.
Hi Lyn - so good to see you back on deck again.
This quilt is gorgeous. Your work is of such high quality. Some lucky winner is just going to adore this quilt.
AlmaG.
I have asked if they can let us know who does win irt and where they come from as there will be fuchsia people from around the world at the Convention. Would be nice if it came back to Australia but don't know of anyone going.
Oh Lyn this is lovely. Somehow I don't think the photo does it justice. A great gift
No the photos don't do the quilt justice. The Lady who stitched it all together is a Great at anything she does, so it is going to be a nice present for whoever wins it.
Stunning work! I love the flowers!
You and your friends have put together a lovely quilt!
A few in our group are quilters. Can't see the point in cutting fabric into little pieces and then joining it up again. They are always trying to get me into Quilting.
This is an outstanding work of art. I also love fuschias :) Nice job to all and thanks for showing us.
Lovely, both the fabric for the back and the embroideries are beautiful. What a great donation!
Wow very lovely quilts you girls have been very busy.Did u do all thee embroidery ones??hugs Carolyn
Yes Carolyn, I am the only one in the group with an embroidery machine so when I asked if they wanted me to do the Fuchsia Embroidery they all said "Yes Please". So much quicker than doing it by hand.
