thanks for all the tips ladies I decided to do a couple of them & will post it when I get it done. I like the wand & the name but since she isn't here yet I don't know the name sew princess will work out I think. thanks agains cuties to the rescue! Hugs &********4all Loralye
I also like the wand idea! Not really that bad though, could trim out the armhole a little.
You are your worst critic! If it bothers you that much...I like the little frog addition idea...I think it looks great...
Adjust the seams a bit; wider on one side than the other. Unless you are selling the bib, the off-centered design add personality; you are your greatest critic.
Mark your center point on the new bib and embroider away.
i would put the word princess or name on the side going down to even out. i have done that when i sewed something a little off center and looks good. maybe a wand
Can you put bubs name curling down around the grown, that might even things up..OR sewilso's suggestion of a small frog would look good.. hope all these suggestions help.. Marian
I would hate to waste that fabric, though. Can you add another small design? Maybe a tiny frog or some other related design to a crown, or maybe several small crowns, to make the group centered? I love that bib you cut out, I saw the link but for some reason my computer wouldn't cooperate with me on downloading it.
I tried the one day & it wouldn't work so I waited & tried the next & it was ok. thanks
Can you not add another piece of embroidery in a way that will even things up? Hope you get what I mean. It makes it into a whole new design with a different centre.
I was think that too but not sure what kind a design to add to the crown? I thought of Princess but I think that is too much? Any thoughts thanks for answering Hugs Loralye
I see there have been a couple of ideas. The small frog or name would be good.
I'd just cut it out & use it as an applique onto the other. Or cut out in a square & do a "raggy edge" applique. OR leave it on the first one as it looks fine to drip food on!! :-)
ah lol thanks Gerry I will give your ideas some thought, they are all good! hugs Loralye
