congratulation on a lovely sommery quilt, doesnt matter it took so long you FINISHED it thats what matters, hugs for you1
Beautiful! Storm At Sea is on my bucket list of quilts to make. I probably won't paper piece mine though because I don't like the part of having to take off the paper afterward. :)
You did a fantastic job, and your color combination is just wonderful! Congratulations!!
Worth the wait...just need the yacht to put it in,hehehe.
I've got quilts waiting to finish also...You did a wonderful job.
this is truly beautiful. glad you finished so you can see the beauty of it done
I LOVE IT MY FAVORITE COLORS !! Looks complicated to me you did an AWSOME JOB!!! Thank You for sharing it with us
Oooooh I love Storm at Sea. I started one 2 years ago. Have all the parts cut and have sewn only 4 blocks. Put it in a case with all the directions and extra material. I hope it does not become an orphan block and one day I will finish it. How did you quilt yours?
This story sounds all too familiar. I actually paper pieced this quilt. Then added the borders. I stitched in the ditch following diagonal wavey lines. I love this design because you can see so many different patterns in it, hearts, circles, squares. It's so cool. Hugs, Susan
WOW you inspire me i have 2 i started a long time ago must finish them ...soozie
Stunning! i also have one that is 5yrs old, one day i'll finish quilting it
A few of my friends are quilters so I can appreciate how much work there was in this quilt. Congratulations! It is beautiful.
it's huge, no wonder it took years to finish. Do you still have to quilt it? It is a lovely pattern.
I actually had it all done except for the borders and quilting it. Just never got around to it before. Thanks, Susan
Excellent job!
Thanks for posting this. Your work is such a wonderful inspiration to me!
Wow this is beautiful! I have not heard of this pattern. Congratulations on a big job well done.
