Oh, Suzanne....many many thanks and hugs and prayers to you for doing all you are doing for the feral population!! My hubby and I do the same thing on our own, TNR.....some of our vets work with us on payment and for that we are thankful. Depending on the outcome of Buttons, you will always have the good feeling of knowing you did everything you could to help him and he has known love that he never would have experienced had you not intervened.......Big kitty hug to you...Vicki & her zoo (LOL)
It is a huge job but I save so many cats and they are healthier in the long run. I also get a lot adopted out that otherwise would be on the street. I was doing it on my own but hooked up with the ACO from the city. She has grants to help. Bless her she was awsome! Suzanne
I thank you for being ther for our little furry friends. I will of course pray for him, he is adorable. Arlene
I will let you all know when I know what is happening with this little guy! Thank you for your prayers I am sure they will help. Suzanne
God bless you Suzanne for doing such a wonderful job in helping out with these little kittens and cats. I do hope that Buttons gets a good result and can be saved. I'm sure with all the prayers from us Cuties he will survive. Love Chris
Thanks... I come here to ask as I know prayers work! Thansk you for yours! Suzanne
Kitties are so resilient. Buttons will be melting your heart for years to come.. Bless you and your work.
A lot o these cats melt my heart. They are all special in some way . Some more than others. They all touch my heart but some steal a piece of it when they leave. Suzanne
Of course I will pray for little Buttons, on my knees, even. Thank you so much for caring for these little ones, It takes a lot of heart to work with them, because it hurts so much when they are hurting. I'll keep you in my prayers as well. My biggest hugs, Marji
So true! I feel for them. It is hard to let go sometimes. Just love this picture too! I hate to see any animal hurting. Suzanne
Thank you for posting this. I wish I could do what you do for our shelter.
I have a degree in Animal Science and I sincerely appreciate what you do.
Buttons will get prayers from me. Please keep us posted.
Hugs to you and Buttons.
Thanks so much! Our city does not have a shelter. So we are it to help out. These cats get the best of at my place with lots of love. I wish I cold keep them all but I do the best I can for them.At least I have a big success rate turning the ferals tame. I get a lot adopted out and no longer on the street. Thanks again Suzanne
You know that my prayers for Buttons continue. He is a special little guy in my heart.
When my daughter was younger, she worked for the county animal shelter. She brought home the smallest kitten who had an eye infection and was being pushed around by her older siblings. I got to give 2 different eye meds while my d was in school. Needless to say, Tabitha stayed for the next 17 years. She just passed this past winter. What a personality that one had. And the interesting coincidence is, that she was born on the same day that my now sil's german shepherd, Hunter was born! They didn't even know each other yet.
Hope things work out for that poor kitten.
What a great story and you had a loving cat for a long time. So special!! Thanks ! Suzanne
what a sad story, of course I'll pray for the little guy ; pray of a good result and that some will adopt him !
Firstly, well done you for the work that you are doing on behalf of these poor animals. I do hope that things work out well for the little one. Keep up the valued work.
thanks! My heart goes out to these poor discarded or forgotten animals. Karen (02kar) has helped me a lot with some special abused cats. They have turned around for the good and gone on to very happy homes.
It is a big success when you can save some of them. I have fixed over a hundred cats and gotten a little more than half off the street and into loving homes. The work continues. I am worried about this little guy. A biopsy is a big thing seeing he weighs only 14 ounces. Thanks for the prayers. Suzanne
Yes you can. I pray it turns out OK.
Thanks so much it means a lot. Poor little guy has has a tough 5 weeks. Suzanne
