Hi Lyn, I sent the crochet pattern to your email addy as I wasn't sure if I could put it here.
Hi Lyn, they look great. I have a funny image for you - I wake up in the morning and look at my husband and smile because he wears a beanie to bed! He said all the heat just escapes out of his head (he is quite bald!) Just thought I'd share this with you and a few thousand others! He he he! Love your work and what a worthwhile cause giving them away for charities. Love and blessings Chris
Chris I have often worn a beanie during the day inside to keep my head warm also.
HI Lyn,
They look great. I can't knit but I have made some crochet ones for the Christmas shoe box appeal.
Hi, Do you have a basic Crocheted beanie pattern. Mine are also for shoe Boxes.
Wow! they look great. It would take me forever to do these. Kudos to you!
this is very nice of you, I don't know how to knit, but am crocheting hats for children hospital. Just learned how to last sunday and have made 22.
(should be embroidering!)LOL!
I also crochet but haven't found a nice easy pattern for a hat/beanie. I too should be embroidering but it makes a nice change.

Just looked at pattern, google Crochet head-hugger cap is the name. On row 13 decrease every 5th dc. row 14 half double crochet all around. Hook is F/4-3.75. I could not find this so I use F/5-3.75 good luck
