I just learned that ther are 15 children at the Kairos House..8 boys and 7 girls.....We (missionaries) picked up coloring books for each...their own set of crayons to go with them...cars for the boys and beanie babies for the girls...I just couldn't think of anything to make them and very little time....We also bring them sweets/goodies...this is the place my dh has a heart for...so I will be looking forward to getting an idea of what can be done for them next year...deanna

Bet they'd like some softies too! If you do organize something, please let me know. I made a quilt for Jan's Uganda Project and I'd be willing to make something for the kids.It's so wonderful to think of their little faces getting our goodies! PLEASE don't forget to let me know!

What a worthwhile mission you will be part of Deanna. I hope you all will be truly blessed by what you are doing. I think if you asked us here we could organise something like we did with Jan for the Uganda Quilt Project. Love Chris

I think it is truly sad for children to have cancer and it be terminal...wish i could just take them in and let them know its ok....Thank you for the gesture and I will talk to the others about this....
