Kerry hope it didn't hitch a ride from my place. hugs Sally
Sally if truth B known he probably started out with me early that day and only surfaced that night....now I wonder if there is a spider detector you can buy?
There is that electronic fence for the house. I do not know if the have one that plugs into the car. I feel the same way, and recently had a similar experience on a small boat, luckily I was not immediately threatened.
What a funny story! I am also petrified of spiders. When I was a teenager (many many moons ago) I was vacuuming and one of those big wood spiders was in our livingroom. I vacuumed him up and then did not dare turn off the vacuum for fear he would crawl out. I left the vacuum running and put it out on the porch until my Dad got home to rescue me. LOL Hugs, Barba
What a grand story you tell, Kerry! I have certainly had a good laugh at your expense and of course the expense of the dearly departed spider. ;)
Good for you! Spiders in the car while you're driving are NOT good! One got in our car this weekend & the teenage grand daughter is smacking & yelling while the baby (22 mos) is watching the whole thing. We FINALLY get all loaded (with the spider somewhere between the seat & back) & for the next HOUR the baby talked about that spider! She talks very plain AND all the time! Love her. Glad you were so brave! AND a great picture!
the spiders sure are a worry in a car,,,especially when you are the only one in it.
You are a smart lady to pull off the road and park before waging war on the spider. I am so glad you won the war even if it cost you broken biscuits.
What a story. So glad to hear it did not put you off your journey to meet the others. Reminds me of a story of a journey and a biscuit box which I wont go into. Super picture of the three of you. Look forward to seeing a picture of the next meeting
it was on my way home, it could of been easy for me to think one spider maybe there could be another, but like I said, I went on as though it never happened or truly I would not have got home at all....
You poor darling. You were SO BRAVE to attack the thing with a bicky box. I once sat in my car and wouldn't let the kids out for over an hour waiting for hubby to get home cause I saw a huge one on the outside of the window. I wasn't opening the door with him out there. xx
