what a great piece of work, and they must love cards..
This is a great quilt Loralye.. great backing fabric was it normal width it would be hard to match up the pattern
I had to add to the sides. I am really glad that I got it but it was pricey so I bought 7 yards & it is all gone now. barely enough for the label lol thanks Marian, hugs Loralye

Thank you for sharing your lovely quilt. I feel like there is still hope for me as I have many projects half finished. Makes me feel like I should pick one up and finish it. Thanks
It takes a lot of time and effort to think of what would be meaningful to the couple and then translate it to a quilt. You were very thoughtful and generous to make this special quilt for them. I'm sure they will treasure it and perhaps pass it down as a family heirloom. But if I were them, I'd wear it out with use as I'd have it on my bed every day!
than you very much for that & I too hope they wear it out & use it everyday! that would mean so much more to me then packing it away! thanks again Penny, hugs Loralye
Great Job! I know it was a long time in the works but your finished quilt looks well worth the wait.
Oh, Loralye, this is a beautiful quilt........terrific piece of work!!
What a wonderful gift of love...all your time was worth it and I am sure they will love it more than Vegas. Thanks for sharing.
They are truly going to blessed that you have put so many hours into crafting this quilt especially just for them. The flying geese remind me of the flashing neon lights of Las Vegas. The pieces are so well thought out and placed.
Love the inner red border too and the flying geese. Lots of work in this one, I hope they appreciate how much effort and time went into this. Love Chris
You did a wonderful job with this quilt. I know they will treasure it.
That is "Mission: Accomplished" Way to go! Great work!
WOW - congratulations on getting this completed - gives me hope that I might be able to finish some of my part-quilts
It has taken me along time to do, normally I wouldn't take this long but I knew this was going to belong to our God-Son & his new bride. When he announced to us it was time I knew I had to finish it LOL. You can do it & just think how much you will earn with each one. ALOT! thanks Karen Hugs Loralye
I should mention for those that remember this I hated using the invisible thread & although I started with it I will not do it with this thread again!
it was a nightmare! never again but at least I did learn this, so that is good too.
