That is awful. I am glad that will not happen again. I have a friend who is allergic to trees, and most medicines have some part of a tree in there so she needs to have all medications specially formulated. So sorry that happened, glad you stopped throwing up. Did you see the pic Dolly posted, we are in sync!
What was the name of the drug he gave you???Hope your better today and heres a hug to help u hugs carolyn
I am much better today. A little weak and tired, but able to go and do the things I need to do. Pharmacist has changed my records to include all drugs with the Cef beginning. The dr prescribed a new prescription and I have taken it before so I'm sure it will be ok. As I will soon be 65 I hope this will not be the norm for new medicines for me.
Have a blessed day. Hugs, Max
Sorry you had to go through this, there is almost nothing worse. Hope today is better.
Oh, talk about having a bad day. Hope you are feeling better now. I, too, am allergic to certain medications. I usually get the itchies or hives though. At one time I had a new dr. that somehow EVERY new medication he prescribed I was allergic to....you wouldn't want to see the list. Hopefully you will be your spry self again soon. Bless you.
I am so sorry. That is not the way I like to see anyone spend even a part of a day.
As I have gotten older, I find I'm becoming more & more allergic to drugs & things. Esp. on my skin! Hopefully you are still a young thing & this will be just a one time thing! But I agree, let your doctor & pharmacist know! Should be on your records!
How miserable. I hope they find something you can tolerate better. You deserve a wonderful day tomorrow!
So sorry you had a bad reaction to that drug. Make sure your doctor and pharmacists make a note in your records and to keep a file for yourself. We have a rule that anytime we take a new drug that someone is with us until we know we will not have a reaction. You just never know and even with drugs you have taken in the past can cause a reaction as our body chemistry can change.
What a good idea!! Never even thought about doing this but will be sure to remember the next time one of us has a new med. tha nks
