Looks great! The outer fabric has lots going on, so the inner part doesn't need a lot - looks good!
Your tablerunner is lovely and I don't think the center is too plain. You would probably place a bowl or something on it and if you had a design there, it would be covered up.
A big Thank You to everyone. Your comments are always so encouraging and helpful. Hugs to All, Susan
Super - such a sophisticated design and carrying out! Everyone
will be pleased to be presented with it - it has class and isn't at all
mass - and it's a good idea to leave the centre free
And well in time for Christmas by the way - Maria
Hi Susan, I dont think the middle is too plain at all. You have a done a lovely present for a very lucky person. Your line up and stitching is wonderful and once its put on the table with a few bowls of Christmas Goodies in the center it will bring someone much joy. Jussy :)
You did a great job. It's festive without being overwhelming. I love it!

I love it just like you have it. You did a great job and now have given me an idea how to do a table runner I have been thinking of for a while.
The center is better plain if you want to put some object or something like a candle there, Great job.
I love it just the way you have done it. Good job its lovely!!
I would leave it as it is , as others already said : probably you will put some items in the middle and so the design would be lost anyway. Nice work !
It's lovely and no the centre is not too plain as it will probably have something christmassy sitting on it!
I love the poinsettia design. I would be perfect for matching napkins. Now, get busy. I picked up some casual napkins on clearance after Christmas last year and I need to work on them also. I am proud of you in getting a " head start" for Christmas. Some times , I think we should stitch Christmas all year around and forget the rest of the seasons. I still have a St. Patrick's day design loaded to my machine that was never stitched.
I like it just as it is, very pretty. As others have said, you can sit something on top and not be covering up a pretty design.
Hugs Jerri
looks great and will have room for the centerpiece. LOL!
Well done indeed. I agree leaving it plain is best. It will be a pretty runner with any type of centerpiece.
I love it Susan Maybe just before c/mas if u know then who will receive this gift u could write there name in the middle or this pain looks awesome to.Great job hugs Carolyn
you have done well Susan this is lovely & I agree with Vicki, hugs Loralye
Beautiful, this is perfect - just the way it is!! Hugs, Laura*
Susan, this is far from too plain........in fact it leaves this middle open for a Christmas centerpiece or pretty vase......love it and great job!
Very pretty table runner. I think the center looks fine - it leaves space for a candle, bowl, etc. to be placed and not compete with the lovely design. Nicely done!
Really Nice...I think something in the center would be nice...perhaps when you decide who will be the joyful recipent, you could add a christmas monogram...
