well most like the ric-rac, personly I prefer the plain hat. It's lovely !
The design for the finished version is now on Yoriko's site. I spent ages trying to get a ric-rac effect for the edge, but I couldn't get it quite right. I hope you like the scalloped edge instead!
Love the hat the ric-rac is a great touch for the hat.

Love the hat and the ric rac really gives it an added touch.
Oh, this is so adorable!! Love it on the little furry model!
love the hat + Love the Ric Rac as well
just seems to finish the hat of beautlfully :-)
Love both versons!! Needs to be big enough to fit my big head tho LOL!!!
I love the ric-rac hat! It is the perfect touch to finish the hat. If you wanted, you could vary the size or move it out closer to the edge, but I like it the way that it is. :)
I'd have to agree with the majority here a norrower ric rac would be perfect on a hat of this size.. wel done both of you a truly great design.. Marian
Thank you
It must be time to go to the fabric store. Thanks for the encouragement.
i just love the ric-rac one. i think it is just perfect. love the hat
I think the ric-rac is very striking on it. Yes, leave the ric-rac. The hat is adorable. You did a great job. Hugs, Susan
I lovew the ric rac....i think this would be so nice for Kairos house...Is it going to be for sale???? and is there a boys version coming out????
I think the rick-rack is the icing on the cake! Every thing one needs more bling! Both are nice, but I'm tickled over the rick-rack one.
I think a narrow rick-rack would be in more proportionate to the size of the garment. But, I like cuteness on little ones' clothing.
I like the rick-rack and if you go narrower, I wouldn't go much narrower.
They are both sweet, so it would depend on the rest of the outfit worn. I find it hard to decide which looks best. They are so nice
I wanted to like the ric-rac one but think the plainer one is more effective
How cute is that.... I like the plain one best as it is such a beautiful design to show off by itself. :) Diana
I like it plain, because I love the shape of the scallops that form the edges of the hat. It gets a bit lost when you add ric-rac. But I think a very narrow ric-rac or trim that follows the brim edges more closely would be very pretty too. This is a terrific idea Sue, and very well executed rescuer. Well done.
Thank you. I like it plain as well but local feedback was, "It is too plain" I appreciate your help
Absolutely adorable!! I really like the Ric-Rac! Hugs, Laura
I love it. It was clever of you to match the lining fabric with the applique! I like the ric-rac, but it is a bit chunky. How did you do the top bit?
It is a large clear button -- included in a bundle of hair bands that I purchased in order to do ITH purses that matched. The hat lining matches a dress I made. I think a very narrow ric-rac would do better.
Thanks again for letting me test this design. It was fun!
They are both cute. Depending on what is being worn to me it would be like if the garment has lots of pattern then the plain one and if the clothing being worn were plain then the ric-rac one.
Ric-Rac finishes it, I think. Although I did like it with out. So your going to have to count me as "on the fence". Not much help I know. But they are both so cute. Where is the pattern? How did you make it ITH?
It is a test design from Sue Thank you Sue.
Oh, and I am just fine with fence sitters. Thanks for your input, it helps.
the ric rac is very cute is that a sewn ric rac or actual ric rac? thank you..Libby
Thanks Libby
It is just basted to the hat. I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. Stay tuned for something new -- soon.
