Dear Deanna, I'm so very happy to see you on here, my dear friend!
Thank you for sharing this with us Deanna. You and your darling husband have a wonderful gift and the best part is that you are using it for the right reasons. I pray for your ability to continue to do His work and and would love to do something that you could possibly take back with you next time?
They don't have much room...we took beanie babies coloring books/crayons, bed sheets and hot wheel cars this year...last year I did puppets and animal hats for them...
I was thinking of little aprons for crayons or play for next year...books in Spanish maybe animal bookmarkers...I am really not sure...I think though dh and I may just do the fundraisers to help buy the new home they so need...
I Pray for all the people here and youns as well, that God will put His hands on all of you and bring great healing! I Pray that your work will be Blessed many times over with funds to help these peoples. For they belong to God also. In Prayers & Love, Judy
Thank you for the beautiful prayer...hurts to see children sick like that...hurts for older people also, but really children who are so innocent.
As I am sitting in my air conditioned room and look at these pictures it is a good reminder how much we take for granted. I am glad you were able to go and share these pics. Is there any way one can help? Please let me know.
like I told earlier we are going to be working on ways to help them...I think our church has an address for this missionary out of Florida where the funds can get to them without being taxed heavily...
So very sad to see these beautiful children suffering with terminal illness. A huge thank you to you for caring so much. Hugs Sarah.
My dh is such a softie...we went to build the houses for the 2 families, but he wants to help them so much more...I finally got to see why.
May God continue to bless you and your husband as you continue to work in His name. I can see love and hope in these children's eyes. Not everyone can do this sort of work Deanna, you have a special vocation in helping others. Love and blessings Chris
Our church is getting bigger and growing...more people are starting to get involved so they are thinking 2 times a year instead of one....dh said they got to see more of guatemala last year than this time because of transportation so next year about late april beginning may we will be going again.....I really am glad i got to see Kairos house, now I know what they need and what works in their place....
Thank you for sharing these pictures of these beautiful children and their loving parents. I am grateful you are willing and able to help them. Please keep us updated on their progress of providing sponsorships. I know not all of us can afford to do that but their are other ways to help out I am sure.
Thank you..aren't they adorable...and being so ill yet they still can be happy...makes you wonder don't it..why we can't get it here in the USA
