OH NO!! This is the first I am seeing this.......I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved dog........I do know how you feel!!! Hope by now you are doing better with the heat, I get heat induced migraines, so I understand how heat can beat you up!! Again, I am so very sorry you have had such a traumatic few weeks....Big hug to you.........
Thank you for the big hug, I need it my friend! My illness has stabilized again (I hope) and we are enjoying thunderstorms with rain here. The A/C is working and I am getting back to my sewing. Thank you for caring!
OH my goodness - you should have driven up to visit me - at least I have AC - glad it is fixed now - so sorry for your the lose of your dear furbaby.
You are so very kind to offer and I would have loved a good Cute visit.
I am afraid I was too sick to do much of anything. I got so far behind... I hope to catch up soon.
I can empathize with you. Feel better soon, my sympathies for your loss.
Although I commented earlier on this post - I have just reread and the replies from fellow Cuties bring tears to my eyes. What a wonderful group of understanding people we have here and thank you Rescuer for each and every reply. Hugs to all Sarah.
Sarah, I am so thankful for the wonderful Cuties in my life. The kindness and compassion from friends all over the world also brings tears to my eyes -- tears of joy. Hugs to you Sarah and all my other Cute friends as well. Thank you all for the love and support.
So sorry to hear about the dog and the AC. My AC died too last year during two heat waves. I since had it replace too. Suzanne
I am off to the mountains -- just for the day -- to find some fresh, cooler air and to find some peace. When I get to the 11,000 ft crest and listen to the breeze blowing through the Quaking Aspens and smell the Evergreens and Pines...I will find that peace.
Thank you all for being so very dear and so very kind! Hugs to you all!
I hope you found the peace you needed today and are feeling a little better.
Hugs Jerri
You make me cry.I can just see you there and I hope you feel the peace nature can bring.
I am feeling much better now. It is amazing what mountain air does for my soul! Thank you dear friends.
So glad that you got away and into the mountains - it is always so wonderful to do that.
Rescuer, I'm so sorry to read about your dog. I know how hard it is to lose a very dear friend. An animal gives pure love, not faked, not because they need to, but because they want to. Keep all those nice memories alive. Big hugg sent
So sorry to hear about your dog. so much loved I expect. Hope things will get better real soon for you. At least thank goodness A/C working again.
The A/C helps
I do love pets. One day -- I might be brave enough to have another. I will always cherish the memories of the furry friends I have had.
I do hope life gets better soon. I know that I am blessed with wonderful friends! Thank you
So sorry to hear about your beloved dog and all of the other burdens you carry...hope you are feeling better soon and you get back to happier times...
Wishing for better, more happier days for you! Sometimes, it seems like everything happens at the same time, and we get overwhelmed with life, in general! Hang in there! It gets better! Life is a constant challenge, but it is still good!
Hugs, Ange
Thank you. You are so right!
I am just grateful I had time with her and the wonderful part of having a dog -- even with her extreme anxiety and wild eyes -- she was trying to comfort me. I have been very blessed.
I am so so sorry about your 4 legged companion. They give us so much joy, but our hearts brake when we have to say good bye. Hugs for you. I hate the fireworks (not the organized one put on by professionals). Besides the fire danger the turn my German Shepherd to a want to be lap dog. It takes me quite a while to calm her down.
At least your AC is fixed. Hope you are in you happy stitching groove soon.
My dog was a beautiful huge German Shepherd. The first six years of her life she was abused, neglected, and mistreated.
I really had hoped the Vet giving her an injected sedative would work. It did not work. I think her past was just too much for her to relive every time the fireworks went off. This year was her first year with us where she was without my other dog to guide her and keep her feeling safe.
I will miss her, I miss them both -- but I will be stitching again soon -- it is my "happy place."
I am so terribly sorry to hear about your dog. I really hope that things get better for you. Hugs Sarah.
Our pets give us so much comfort. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Stella
Ah, bless your heart. I know the pain that you are feeling~ so very hard. I'm happy that you have gotten your a/c replaced, Love and hugs ;)
Dear Rescuer, so sorry to read about your health issues and of course the passing of your beloved dog. Thankfully your Air Conditioner has been repaired.
I can't believe you have firecrackers going off for all that length of time. Firecrackers are banned in most States in Australia. You need to have a special licence to buy them. “Anyone caught using fireworks without a permit risks an on-the-spot fine of up to $1,000 from the Police or a Work Cover inspector.” “If convicted, they also face penalties of up to $27,500 for displaying fireworks without a permit. "Anyone selling or purchasing fireworks without a permit can also be fined more than $27,000 and jailed for up to 12 months.”
It has sure eased our Firefighter's grief - not to mention all of the poor animals that get so frightened. I hope something can be done in America for it to be more controlled. Love and blessings Chris
Sadly, last year they reduced the laws we had in place allowing more dangerous aerial fireworks and extending the days and times allowed.
Many pets and people are suffering.
Thank you Chris for your kindness.
Fireworks are also banned in certain cities here in S. Africa. I just hate them and animals suffer too terribly, which breaks my heart
I wish they were banned in the UK. People who buy them have got more money than sense. My late border collie was absolutely terrified of them, as well as thunderstorms, and we couldn't calm her down at all. She would climb on our bed, and couldn't stop panting and dribbling, our duvet was quite wet by the time she calmed down. Sadly, I no longer have her, the best dog ever.
ah my dear friend I am so sorry to hear this, please no that if there was anything that I could do to ease your pain I would! You are in my prayers!
hugs & more hugs Loralye
so sorry to hear about yr dog and your other health probs. unfortunately we are all getting older even our pets. you sound like you are sad but still have a positive outlook. try to keep your chin up. i have seen how much you do around here! AND you are needed! sincerely, lynne
Thank you. I just hold onto the thought I will see her again and she is no longer in torment or pain. I miss her already.
Oh, I am so sorry! I know how precious our pets are! Family members! I hate the local fireworks that are so loud! We were keeping our son's dog & he went crazy! A horse escaped here in Knoxville & was injured due to so many fireworks in their area. I never could understand the fun of "burning money!" Hope you can get your AC fixed quickly!! Thinking of you & praying all gets better!
I am just glad she has family to welcome her and my other dog was waiting for her...
I just wish people would not do fireworks all night long every single night for a month or more. There is no rest for any of us...
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
Sorry you are having a bad time. Sorry about your dog. Hugs to help you feel better. DeVon
So sorry about your pet loss. You just take care of your health and do some "down time". You have earned a few lazy days--stitching will wait. Do get well real soon.
we are with in this rough time. remember there is a silver lining to every dark cloud. even if u dont feel there is right now. god bless.
My thought and prayers are with you and your family. I will be thinking about you and sending hugs your way.
Jerri

Oh no, it will take awhile before you heart mends over your dog. I'm sure she had a wonderful long life. Yikes no A/C when it's hot. Try lots of quick cold showers and try getting your hair wet....it will keep your head cool...as soon as it dry pop in the shower again.
Thank you
I had the cool shower and wet haor for the week the A/C was out. 90+ degrees in the house.
My heart still hurts form the passing of my other dog last year. At least they can be together and play and run without pain again.
