Well, it's good to know that bisquits can make the headlines! Now think, Aussie ladies, what if you all had a shortage of Tim-Tams? Hee hee hee. Thanks for sharing, Pia. We have to keep our priorities in order, hee hee hee.

Pia, dear one - so happy to hear that you and the family were not affected. It is strange that even though everything that is going on - they are worried about not having a kammerjunker - why is tht out of stock? If I had the makings or knew what it contained - I would send you some - so that your family could have them. Hehehe! *4U

Thanks, maybe I should send you a recipe, I actually have one from my grandmother. At present one dont use time for baking these anymore, we just by them, but I have tried to make them as a child, and they where much better. And why they are out of stock: We are having the perfect summer these weeks, sunny, nice warm not too warm. It is a bit to soon for the strawberrys -we eat strawberry all year, but only the danish are concidered to be real strawberrys ;.) And so we eat "koldskål" and "kammerjunker" in large quantaties, we believe that is more summer than even icecream. So as you can see, a positive problem.

It is good that you are safe, does seems strange about the bisquit, we really feel close to the Danish people as we get lost of news from Denmark now that our Mary is your Crown Princess *4u

And she is a very VERY popular princes. She is smiling, she loves her husband and her kids, she shows it. When her hat blows of in the wind, she runs for it with a laugh. She seems clever, have her own opinions, she is beautiful in a very natural way. We absolutely love her and no journalist dares to write anything bad about her - we wouldn't by the newspaper then. But if they write nice things about her, we by.... So there you are, she is everybodys darling. And we just loved, that our shy prince has turned into a more open man, when he met her. And that he cried a tear of joy, when she walked into the chirch.

Thank you for your concern. It was our embassy, but it is located in Pakistan, so we are not really touched in anyway directly.

I am afraid, we are so spoiled in our little place of the world, that we do not really understand what bad times is. That is also why I thought the Bisquit-thing was so funny. Being short of Bisquits is not really troublesome, at least not when you have plenty of other food. And we do.

But to be fair to my country-men, our little country is one of the 5 countries in the world that donates most to countries in needs. So we try to give thoughts and help to people in need.

Sand, Where do you live? I am happy you are O.K. Years ago my son and his family were in Saudie when the compound had a bomb set off in it. It blew out the windows in their home. Scary!! Will you still have plenty of food? I hope so, Our cost for food has skyrocketed, because of fuel costs. Hugs and a flower.

I live in Denmark in the north of Europe. We are all OK, the bomb went of outside our embassy in Pakistan. And for food, we have plenty - and that was why I thought it was funny with the bisquit-shortage. Things are happening in the world, and we still think it is important to have just the right kind of bisquits. But prices are going up, very much. But my family dont feel it very much, because we mostly eat organic food which have always been expensive and those prices are not going very much up, its more traditional food that are skyrocketing in prices.

Uhh, scary with your son. I have never heard of anybody being so close to a bomb, windows blowing out. And his family there.

I have heard that Denmark is beautiful. I am pleased you and yours have plenty of food and your safe. We never know anymore where a bomb can go off, or the distruction it can cause. I love the fact that we can keep-in-touch with one another all over the world. There is so much we are not told in the news about the rest of our world. Hugs and flowers.

Again today I realised that I live in a SMALL country. Yesterday an embassy was bombed and that of course make headlines. But today a new headline was in the news aswell: On friday we will be out of a certain kind of bisquit (kammerjunker) that we use for a summer-dish that is very popular and very danish. Its nice and fun, that there is room for that kind of news along with all the terrible things, but it is kind of odd anyway.
