I really like the one with the Urban Threads design!
With the elastic problem. Try to stop your machine just after it has stitched across it on the final outline and go back a few stitches before restarting your machine. Then, when you cut way the fabric before turning it all through, try not to cut through the elastic, leaving long ends inside. The problem is that it unravels if it is too short.
These look great and your on a good roll.
Thanks HLM! I have so many ideas in my head and I hope I get most of them out, LOL ;D *2U
I agree just go over that step for the elastic more then once, it works. well done. Hugs Loralye
Congratulations - now you, too, will be addicted to ITH projects. They look great!!
By the way, I have had the same problem with elastic or ribbons at one time or another. As chattypenny said, just reinforce the seams in those areas and they should hold for you. Can't wait to see what you do next ITH!!
TU :) I truly am loving these and you can have an item in matter of minutes. I will follow Penny suggestions next time. I already have other ideas in my head...so much and not enough time...FIESTA ;D *2U
Beautiful purses! Amazing color choices too.
When I do an In the hoop project that has elastic or ribbon, I reinforce it by going over that area several times. Then, after unhooping, I like to overcast the seams in that area too. Just a bit of extra work but it does help secure that elastic or ribbon.
Hope that suggestion helps!
