Seems even the best of people used to sew !! ;))

I never knew Pfaff made treadle sewing machines ,always thought Singer made them.
Well it was the 60's & they were probably just starting out & didn't have much money.John had someone -grandmother or aunt he lived with ,so it could their machine he is using.

Is this John Lennon? my what a tremendous add for Pfaff, let alone the Beatles...great photo indeed.

Some of his lyrics resonate in my mind. He was an idealist, and is very much missed. It has been over 2 decades and I remember where I was when I heard the news.

Where did you find this!! So he was more than a musician, and even designed fabric for children - wow sewdoctor I bet you're proud to own some!! We learn stuff every day eh!!

I don't know how much he actually sewed,,,,but, he designed fabric for children.....I have some!
