I will be gone for a few days. Tomorrow I am being admitted to the hospital for a total knee replacement. Just a tad nervous about it tonight. I had the other knee done about 11 years ago so I know exactly what I am facing. I guess I am thinking now I am older maybe recovery will be a bit more difficult. Hugs, Mary

My sister is having her third knee replacemant next month. I take care of her so I know what you are going through. Her first knee replascement did not go well but the other knee went fine. Now she has to get the first knee redone. Prayers to you and speedy recovery! Suzanne

Ah Mary i guess sometimes we might all half to cross that bridge when we come to it.My brotherinlaw just had it done and he is 72 and came away almost running .He does wood now and says he should of had it done 15 years ago but he was afraid to :(:(Go and we will pray the peace of God rests on you hugs Carolyn

Mary, here's praying for a faster recovery!! I've had both knees & both hips done & would do it again! After a bit, such pain relief! Be sure & do your PT!! Thinking about you! Hurry back!

Good luck Mary for tomorrow. My Mum's had 3 knee replacements! First one didn't take really well and the two since have been wonderful. Make sure you do your exercises. Mum used to place a 5=6kg bag of rice on her leg and swing it back and forth. The methods for surgery these days are wonderful and recovery is much quicker. God bless you and I pray that the surgeon's and nurses looking after you are upheld in our prayers too. Love Chris

Mary, you may be older, but the procedures have surely gotten more advanced, so I'm praying for it to be lots easier than you remember and to see your dance solo on "you tube" in a few days. ;)
