Netherlands people - I need your suggestions. I am making a banner to thank a geneticist from the Netherlands who is coming to the US to meet the Kool Kids. What can I put on the banner to represent Holland besides Tulips and Windmills? Is there something special??? Thanks!

Gerry, Thank you so very much for locating these designs for me! I'm thinking I can use them around the border, mixed with little American images too. Hugs, Jan

thank you = "Dank u" or "dank u wel"
and thanks= "bedankt"
thank you very much+ "hartelijk bedankt"
Perhaps you can do something with the colors red whit and blue, the colors of the Dutch flag. And particular dutch things; besides the tulips and windmills: wooden shoes, cheese, cows. Typisch hollands= typical Dutch

The flag, red-white-blue horizontal stripes of equal size? Personally I'd prefer that to tulips, clogs and windmills.

I really hate all those so called Dutch designs - so 18th century.

I'm thinking the flags of both countries, and use a red, white blue theme! Is there a national symbol, like we have the eagle??
