Good afternoon ladies. I am sorry that I have been unable to post of recent but I have been a guest of the NHS here in the UK following further end-stage cardiac issues. I was actually discharged on Monday following a period of being stabilised. I have known for a little while now that there is no further surgical intervention that the specialists are prepared to undertake and so it is simply a case of 'keep taking the tablets' lol. I am sure that you can all read between the lines as to what I am saying and so I would greatly appreciate it if I could ask you not to be concerned for me or to feel any need to reply to this post. In any event, I hope that this will go some way to explain my recent absence and being AWOL in the future. Take care lovely ladies.

145302Blessings to you & your loved ones. You seem to be accepting of your health issues & it reminded me of my mother's. She too had heart issues ( 5 replacements, etc.)& was told she's be extremely lucky so see me go off to school. She accepted that & went about the best quality of life possible. She lived to be 73 years young,,,,,so sometimes end-stage issues can go on a lot longer than expected (& I so very much hope that for you too !!) Have a wonderful day, Judie

79Well they have a pill for that. You are just trying to keep up with Bev in Tex. I go to the hospital and you start thinking you need to go . Try your best to stay away from there as I am doing. All kidding aside do take care of yourself

I just want to say the first time you posted..I was delighted to have a Cute Brother...finally. I can't speak for my Cute Sisters, but I think most will agree what a joy and inspiration you are to all of us. My Sisters are all so special and I'm so blessed to have them in my life...even if only as Cyber Sisters. I feel I know them...for real because of all the life events we share with each other. We pray, laugh, and cry together and that makes up for a very special Cyber Family. So if it's okay with you, since I believe in the power of prayer, that I will remember you and your lovely wife Anne in my prayers and thoughts as I know most of our Cute Sisters will.

Thank you Sarah. I've now had two quadruple bypass ops (well, the second time was to bypass the previous bypasses, followed by (I've lost count of) numerous stents being put in since then. My problem is partly heredatory (hardening of the arteries) and partly years of taking in noxious fumes and smoke during my early career. This latter explanation has been added to remove any potential concerns for your Husband. Take good care of him and ban him from painting jobs.....lol.

I am sure you just wore your "ticker" out trying to save many from fires. Perhaps the specialists would consider installing a newer model -- if you tell them Cuties around the world worry for you.
Please take the advice given...get a Cute Buddy.

Thanks so much. I am sure you are right, Ann said that a newer model would suit her down to the ground.................oh, you meant a replacement 'ticker'....lol. Unfortunately, a replacement is not going to happen!!

18031Hi Dennis, I am a fan of having a Cute Buddy. This person could actually call you and check on you. The other option is to teach your wife how to post so that should there be a repeat performance, someone can let us ???(you fill in the word) know. I have 1 who checks on me and 1 that I check on, and she checks on someone else, and around the web we go. I like to think of it as taking an active role in this group, and since you have already read the concerned posts I hope you agree. Glad you are well.
