Lingerie bags and spa slippers are great and easy to make and monogram. I made lingerie bags for the girls in my son's wedding party and they turned out great. Made from a hand towel. Ordered the spa slippers online and put their monogram on them.

I like to embroider ready-made book bags (denim or solid colors) or aprons (denim, white, black or red). Also, throws (favorite Bible verse citation comes to mind, or monogram), especially for the very old or very young. Placemats, napkins, coasters, mug rugs. For a couple, how about reversible pillow cases for each (one side says "Tonight"; the other says "Not tonight." or Yes and Maybe. Zippy bags for girls and ladies, nice for holding a variety of small things, such as USB sticks, makeup, change... For Pets: Our local pet store has small, wonderfully textured blankets for dogs and cats - almost any cat or dog design or message or simply the name would be appreciated by the pet owner. Teenaged girls - embroidered earrings - got several freebie designs on Designs by Sick. Everybody - bath towels. (I live near a mill store, so this is dirt cheap. I get $1 kitchen towels there.)

do you go through designs by cuties? There is a in the hoop snowman soap dispenser cover that is very easy and cute and dish soap is cheap. I would have no Idea where it would be located. Ladies?

For ladies & girls my go to gift is a snappy bag. You can make them using your scraps, various sizes and embroider or not depending on who it is for. Timewise, after making so many, I have it down to about 1/2 hr. per bag.If you need instructions google snappy bags or snap dragon bags. For the fellows, something to do with grilling is ususlly well received. I think it was here on Cute that someone did a saying"Last time I cooked hardly anyone got sick" I have done that on chef aprons & dish towels and the aprons are tried on immediately!.

I like to make covers for inexpensive notebooks, in different sizes, the small a6 as well as the diary size A5. I uploaded at least half a dozen in Projects. They are made in no time at all and you'll no doubt have a stash of designs that would make each one unique.

I love ready made bags, ready made placemats and IYH coasters. Single design FSL are wonderful if you have a design that the recipient will like.

Yep, ready made is the best. I have been playing with drawstring bags today and think these could work well. xx
