Cornflowers and barley.


Have been playing with my cornflower design I showed a couple of days ago. Here are 2 more. Even in the pictures you can see the effect of the light on the different stitch directions.
Apart from the jumps between the different flowers in the second one there are no other jumps.
They stitched out in about 30 minutes each at a moderate speed.

Thank you. I usually work on separate items till I'm satisfied and then start combining. Makes things a lot easier - like flower arranging, pick them up, cut a piece of stem, remove a couple of leaves (and in this case you can even add leaves), turn them around a bit and you are done. In theory. Linking them up so they they stitch free of jumps is another matter.
