I was given this big pc of foam backed vinyl & a challenge was given along with it. It took me some time to come up with (I was a bit under the weather) something but now I have to wait & see if anyone can tell me if they have embroidered on something like this. I did "SEE" this & decided to come up with a quick pattern for it & after practising a few bits this worked out really well. Click here to see what I came up with if you like.............
299559I will add that you can use it to back coasters and kid's placemats. I like the can cozie idea. Try embroidering a small piece with a redwork design and go from there if it is successful.

169064Great Idea Loralye, I have a drink holder like this but it is not embroided,
if you find you can not, you could put an embroided patch or somthing like and hand sew that on.

30988This should work with design. I made cup holder with the Rubbermaid shelving foam liner had to use some tear away because both sides rubber like foam. Did few for guys at church.

67271The can holder is nice and since you were able to stitch on it can't see any problems stitching on it as long as it will fit under your embroidery foot. Small cooler, lunch sack, placemat are other things that come to mind.

89895now that I have made this I can see the potential of so many things. I sure hope that someone has embroidered on this? do you think I can? I wonder if I were to slow the machine down if it would sew something ok? I am anxious to know if anyone has sewn on it before!
