I will add that you can use it to back coasters and kid's placemats. I like the can cozie idea. Try embroidering a small piece with a redwork design and go from there if it is successful.
Great Idea Loralye, I have a drink holder like this but it is not embroided,
if you find you can not, you could put an embroided patch or somthing like and hand sew that on.
Hugs Pam.
good idea Pam I will give the machine a go & see what I can do thanks Hugs &**4U 2
This should work with design. I made cup holder with the Rubbermaid shelving foam liner had to use some tear away because both sides rubber like foam. Did few for guys at church.
thanks for the reminder Mary I did my sewing machine grip too hence my avatar. Hugs & *** 4U2
Maybe add some pockets for an over the door hanger thing? Try a sample design
The can holder is nice and since you were able to stitch on it can't see any problems stitching on it as long as it will fit under your embroidery foot. Small cooler, lunch sack, placemat are other things that come to mind.
now that I have made this I can see the potential of so many things. I sure hope that someone has embroidered on this? do you think I can? I wonder if I were to slow the machine down if it would sew something ok? I am anxious to know if anyone has sewn on it before!
