I agree that you made the correct decision in changing the lace. The blue & white is much better and not at all yellow looking. Great job on the dress.
It beautiful and I agree with you the blue made it lovely

As we sew, so shall we rip.
I agree with the color change...much better.;)
ah thanks I am glad to see that everyone agrees with me. My teacher preferred the cream lace by itself? to each their own but I like it now before I did not. Hugs & **
I don't like cream lace on white fabric (or white lace on cream), it makes the white look too harsh and the cream yellow. I love your blue. Nice alteration!
Totally agree with you...sorry you had to rip, but that's life for we that sew...
I am much happier with her dress now then before so I am happy to rip LOL thanks , Hugs **
Love the blue one, well done! Beautiful doll too.
Hugs, Lidia
Well, I for one, Loralye prefer the blue lace. I have a soft spot for blues and lavenders/purples etc. Well done and it looks awesome. Love Chris
Adorable..... is the doll Sugar Britches? My best friend did Porcelin dolls years ago and this looks like one she did for me.
Hugs Jerri
You are so clever Loralye, she has the most beautiful dress with it as it is.
Hugs Pam.
Beautiful - great job. Vintage or not, you have to be happy yourself with the finished result, you should feel very proud of this result.
I don't know if it is vintage or not but it sure is beautiful. The doll is also beautiful. Really nice job.
It is a sweet dress and still has the vintage look.
