I also just purchased supplies to make some of these bags. Here is a link http://www.potatobakingbag.com/si...
wow that is amazing. I am always so impressed @ what I learn here @ cute! Thank you all so much that corn came out so clean with not a strand of silk stuff on it! I will never pull the silk out of my teeth again LOL! What a super tip! thanks again ladies!
You are welcome. It is nice to know that we can learn more than embroidery tips here, isn't it? If I was going to cook corn for a large group I might do it in a more conventional way, but for just a few ears this is the only way. The part about cooking fresh corn that I liked the least was picking the silk off of the ears or out of my teeth.
I have heard of cooking corn in its husk, but have never heard of cooking it in a bag. I learn something new all the time. Thanks for asking.
Hi Lorayle: You don't need a bag to cook your corn perfectly in the microwave. Just buy your corn in the husk. Put it in your microwave (in the husk) for 4 mins. take it out and cut off about 1" on the rounded end of the corn. With a pot holder, pickup the corn at the pointed end, just make sure your not holding any of the corn itself and give it a shake, the corn will fall out of the end you cut and there will be no silk left on the cob. The corn is cooked perfectly....

oops: I should have read other posts as queenofhearts just gave the same info.
Thank you Teresa. I felt bad after I noticed your posting, just shows we should read everything. I love how the corn turns out done this way, don't you..
It is the same bag as the potatoes but you don't need a bag to cook corn in the microwave. You can cook it in the husk. Peel off the heaviest outside layers and put it in the microwave for 4 minutes on high. (I do mine 1 ear at a time.) When you can handle it, cut off the botom where the kernels begin and grab ahold of the top and shake the ear out of the husk. It comes out clean with the silk all peeled off. The neatest way ever to cook corn. There is a video on YouTube if you need better instructions.
Here is one link but there are other videos as wwww.youtube.com/watch?v=qdwdm09MQmcell.
Use the same bag here is the website for cooking instructions.
