Congratulations for the new member of the family!!!!! Perfect time, now you could do beautiful large designs, like tablecloth runners etc. without the rehooping.
Congratulations on your new machine. You will certainly love it.
congratulations on both your Anniversary & your new baby! May you get as much joy out of your machine as you do your marriage! which sounds pretty terrific! Hugs & ** Loralye
Congrats you got my dream machine .It is sew nice to see things like dreams still come true hugs Carolyn .I got two husqvarna machines but my biggest hoop is 200x260 ,you are blessed ENJOY hugs Carolyn
Thank you! My dream machine used to be the Baby Lock Ellisimo Gold/ Brother Quattro, but I decided that larger hoops and convenience of the dealer are more important. Plus I couldn't get a good deal on those machines, but Viking and Pfaff are trying to get rid of these before the new models come in Sep and Oct.

Congratulations on your new machine...you will have many, many happy hours! And congrats on your anniversary...sounds like your hubby is a "keeper"....
Thank you! I think I'll love my large hoops and large projects ITH! My husband is pretty awesome. It is very expensive for us, but he knows how much I wants it and it is the gift for anniversaries and birthdays for 3 years....
Congradualtions on your anniversary AND new machine. Pretty nice anniv gift!! Sounds like you got a very fair deal and best of all a good dealer. The dealer was the reason, several years ago ,that I switched from "another brand" to Viking. I bought a DDD , my 4th Viking, but am using my SE until this fall and i am anxious to get going on the Diamond. Hope you lke yours .Oh yes, the feet may seem expensive but they are often on sale, just keep a running list when you think you would like one so you'll be ready when they go on sale . The other thing is that the feet fit all their machines so you don't have to get all new ones when you upgrade as I had to do 3 times with my "other brand".
Thank you! I've had bad experience with a dealer before as well. My Baby Lock dealer is awesome. This is the closest dealer! With the new baby, I can't afford to drive too far for classes. I am pretty happy.
Do their accessories go on sale a lot? how big is the sale compared to 30% off?
You made a great choice. I have a DD1, A DSE and a DDD and I absolutely love all three of them. Juanita in Missouri
We got my DDD last November and it is terrific. I really thought nothing could be better than the Designer I (I have 2) but they are wearing out and my husband said I was wearing out the car running back and forth to get repairs. One word - Embrilliance Essentials is a good relatively inexpensive easy to use software program and preferable to the 5D Embroidery sets that are very expensive. Of course, it depends on what you want to do with your software.
I have Embird. Still learning to get more out of it. Thank you for your advice.
Congratulations on being a canny buyer and buying a good machine.
I have an old Husqvarna Viking Designer II (sewing, quilting, embroidery) and it's an absolute workhorse. I love it and dread the day it retires itself. I hope you get the same mileage out of your new machine.
I also have a new Pfaff Ambition 1.5 for normal sewing and quilting and love that, too, for the inbuilt walking foot and the superb accuracy of the stitching.
I bought the Pfaff to free up the HVDII for permanent embroidery and its lighter weight for going to sewing groups.
I couldn't comment before because my embroidery machine must be vintage at least by now and the Pfaff isn't for embroidery.
I'm sure you'll get years and yeas of fun and satisfaction from your machine if you treat it welll.

Congratulations on your new machine. And happy anniversary.
I bought the cutwork needle set with the CD when they first came on the market here. I went to a demo at the dealer's and came home with the set ... and a Ruby. Since then you can buy the Inspira needles, just the 4 in a box, for far less. The cd has 4 designs but the machine comes with many more cutwork designs, and lots of others as well. So you might opt for the (replacement) needles only.
Thank you! I did not see the replacement needles and I will certainly ask about them.
I have a diamond .I found the feet were cheaper on ebay & the internet.I went through the accessory book that comes with the machine & marked what feet that I would use ,compared prices on ebay & bought feet from England & the US when they were a good price .I lovethe clear invisible zip foot & the narrow zipper foot. Also the edge joining set has many uses.Feet in Australia are very expensive , even with overseas postage & currency conversion I saved a lot of money

That's good information. Thanks. I live in US. Does the price 34..95 dollars sound high or low to you?
Congratulations..I know you did your research and consulted many Cuties here...good that you got a fantastic price, better that you got a full warranty, and best that the dealer is only five minutes away...that is the super star of your deal! As time progresses, you will be soooo glad that you can go and "park your bum" on the dealers floor and get the lessons and service that you paid for...and take full advantage of that!!! Sooo happy for you!!!
Thank you! Yes I checked out a lot of brands and researched online for weeks. This fits our budget and I am really happy about it.
