Hi everybody, is there any online classes fo Embird, I have a CD but I think it is too fast for me, it tells me do this and that but it does not explain why...... I need a slow pace Tutorial like if you are teaching a child how to write and read. Thank you.

As Martine said, start slow and with playtime, perhaps you can set yourself a goal to a specific simple shape to accomplish and get that done in the tool you like to study, maybe even have a notebook next to you to get notes down on what works and what does not, if the easy ones work out your skills will reach a higher level fast - just have fun and take your time

The Embird site offers tutorials about any tool and feature. Just take one thing at a time, for instance start with the outline tool, and play with it till you can do it blindfolded. Most of suedewsbury's designs use the outline tool almost exclusively and you can see what excellent designs they are. Once you get the hang of that and know how to use the parameters, go on to a different tool.
The fill tool might be another starting point.

There are excellent tutorials at Clipartopolis / academy , which gives good beginner's lessons (free). Just don't start with something difficult, you want results, not frustation, and before you know it you'll be doing more and more complex things. The whole secret is practice before you leap.

Same to me. Most of the tutorials start from a higher level than my embird-knowledge ;o)
