They say test test test, a good lesson to learn. Miss Ava has asked me to make a blanket for her dolly's bed. I chose this little doll & when I sewed it out the stitches we elongated? I clipped each loose colour once & this is what I was left with. What a disappointment. The eyelet @ the bottom was sewn in the wrong order so the red dots were covered by the white trim. I am not going to say where this freebie comes from but I will show you how I fixed it

I am so glad you were able to fix the bad digitizing. This is why I am much more careful of where I get my freebies from now.

I thought the purpose of freebies was to allow customers to try before you buy. Maybe not?? Great save!

Such a big improvement and the doll looks so much like her baby dolls (minus the ink lol) and you finished it off with a nice border. She will be delighted with the blanket.

thanks so much, the border was a trim that I bought. Hugs & ** 4U

I have been taking classes & only just finished a 6-7 week course. I am pleasantly surprised that I was able to check each segment of the design & change the object thread details. I did them all except I did miss the one hand & the eyelet trim at the bottom & you can see the loose stitches in the 2cd photo. The toothpick is actually UNDER the stitches? Miss Ava will be pleased with the finished blanket.

How disappointing to get a design free or not that wasn't tested. I would not give a design without testing it first. I have found several designs that were not good including a few I paid for.

it was a real shame but I am thankful that I have learned something so that I could attempt a fix. Thanks MaryAnn Hugs & ** 4U2?

You did a nice job fixing it. I have learned the hard way to 'test' a design in the software, see how it stitches out, that is not foolproof, I know, but shows a lot of errors.
