You can see the tiny imperfections but it looks wonderful to me. Love it. Hugs Sarah.
Oh! Loralye this brings back great memories. My kids all listened to me reading them this when they were little. I got it for Ben when he was about 2 and he's now 34. I know the book came out in 1969 so it's been around for a long time. It's a classic in every child's library here in Australia. Love Chris
This is a fantastic pillow. Looks great and glad you found the pin before it gets napped on. Sorry it ouched you!
Way too cute! It looks just like you planned it that way I love them! Looks like you are a good fixer upper! lol
Well it turned out lovely in the end. The birthday boy is sure to love it. Hugs Shirley
even I would love to nap on this bright pillow, you did a wonderful job.
It is the cutest so bright and colorful. Like that the rick-rack is sewn on flat. If you had sewn it into the seam he could have poked his skin so it worked out nice that way. I don't remember the story but I see the caterpillar on one side and it emerging on the other side as a beautiful butterfly. Now I'm going to have to go find a copy of the book.
Your pillow is lovely. My children loved the hungry caterpillar when they were young (they are 40+ now). The colours are so vibrant. Well done - your problems don't show, it looks great.
Isn't it amazing how themes never go away every generation always love these things.
Wow, Lor...these are fantastic...I have never heard of the Hungry Catipillar, but you did an outstanding job! Did you create these patterns yourself...the colors are wonderful!
it is by Eric Carle he wrote books on the Hungry Caterpillar. This is a panel for the birthday party & added the rick rack on both sides & turned it into a pillow. Thanks Hugs & **
Hungry Caterpillar...see what happens when you don't have kids...I need to bone up on childrens' reading books!
