Glad to say I have done made a lot of presents already and have done most of my shopping. Don't have a lot to buy for and have limited my spending a lot since retired. Its always been a joke at work that by the end of August I was just about finished and still do. I can't stand last minute and a lot of times people will ask me at the last minute if I can make them something, so if I have all mine done, then I can say yes...
Well here in Australia it's 4 months today.....25th august. lol
I am not ready for Christmas...we haven't had Halloween...thanksgiving..and just whats left of summer....
Good for you. Keep busy with me. I still have 5x5 inch coasters I am making for Christmas presents too. But at 44,000 stitches each they are not quick. I am only 1/2 way there so you are way ahead of me.
I am so glad you are doing well even with the Chemo. Stay strong and positive. You will be counting down to many more future Christmases.
Hugs and prayers for you continue.
So glad to hear that your chemo has not been too bad and that you are well enough to start your Christmas gifts...stay strong!
Hi Heather, well I've all but done mine for my annual Christmas ladies luncheon. I still have a few snowmen things to make, but that won't tak me too long. Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia
P.S. An official Christmas countdown clock here for you he he he!
Thankyou Chris, I would love to put it on my desktop, not sure where to start, any ideas.
I am in a large quilting group , I endeavour to try to start early to make gifts gifts early each year, somehow I still seem to always have one more to make. Today I caught up with a couple of UFO'S. I have ordered some nice designs from OPW to make some flowers for my spring hats. Oh gosh I still have hair, the Chemo has not been too bad, I am pleasantly surprised how well that do feel. BIG HUGS Heather
Right click on it and then on link on desktop. I tried to save it as a background picture but then only the words are there, not the count down clock.
You can find Christmas countdown Widgets that will work on your desktop. It would have to be a program like a Widget or it won't work.
Thankyou Mops, yes that is how it went for me, I thought I must have missed a step. hugs
