I was wondering if any member has or has used a programme called LETTER IT, from amazing designs. I am looking for a very simple lettering programme so I am able to write my own text. I have been using one from Alphabet X, which although works is very basic and errr not too good. Someone recommend Letter it, so before making any purchase I wondered if anyone has any comments on this software. The more advanced programmes like Embird, are not only to expensive for me in as much as the amount of sewing I do I could not justify spending that kind of money on a pension. A few years ago I downloaded a trail and to be honest it was just too complicated for me. I suffer from a memory disorder and cannot retain information easily. If I can find something I can master and do this over and over again, it does seem to stay there, but trying to work with complicated programmes confuses me and then I become frustrated and blood preasure rises. But hey Ho.

Secondly...I would like to thank thank you to those whom responded to my last post. I have been busy sewing for the past few days, so I was not ignoring you all and have now responded to those who kindly replied with such helpful information.

Warm regards

Have you tried ' Alphabet Xpress' from Ann the Gran???

You can make names, words, merge a design into it and save as one.

Yes I have this programme, but it is so basic and if you make the letters really small it does not stitch out very tidy or clearly, this is my finding f course.
Thank you

Haven't tried it. I use Sew What Pro. About $65. Like it. Uses any TT font in your computer. Your choice is almost unlimited.
