I am glad that this turned out for the good for all, now. (see the post below)
really looks good from here. we are all so critical of ourselves anyway.i m from the school of C grades.too much stress to push for A
Glad that you were able to correct this. Hugs & ** Loralye
I love your fabric, Christine...the one in the middle is turned inside out and looks better that way, did you do something different on that one? I am so happy she fixed this for you!!
It was the first one and I made the back first, so as soon as I saw the satin stitch I knew. I had to take it out of the machine and sew it this way, now I know and I have instructions. Yeah!
With your encouragement I sent her the link. She responded, and I wrote back, and then she sent me a corrected file. I am happy now, because it is a useable design, and I think now it does reflect the kind of digitizer she is. Thank you Janny!
It is tough to complain about something. I'm a very mild mannered person, and understand that it would be difficult to say something. Instead, maybe you could send an email with a link to this discussion page. Perhaps that will say it all. Good luck!
It is disappointing when a design turns out to be imperfect. I agree that the digitizer would like to know so she/he can make it right.
I'm sure there are tissue holders here in DBC that stitch out better. I have posted pix of one I made from here (don't remember which it was--last winter maybe. Did it as gift for friend...very nice and easy.
I would drop them a note and let them know your thoughts...and perhaps suggest that they include instructions with their downloads...and that after making these, you question whether you would want to purchase their designs... if this is any indication of their quality...
#Exactly. Janny has been around a while and she is associated with either sewbeautiful or nancy. I realized I had made this same one wayback and did not like it. Good thing today I knew how to fix it!
They look very pretty but the opening looks as if it needs more underlay stitching.
