Hi Ladies. I notice often we forget where we get designs. I am TRYING to put in the notes spot when I change a design to my formate where I got it.Do have to pull up on the screen to read.

Like mops I was trying to file by site also with subdivisions but u can spend a lot of time looking for say cats etc. I keep my self a legend not say cute Emb.-C.E. & change the designs name by adding ce to the name of design from cute. Whyen I pull up design that has AD at the end I look n my little notebook 4 AD & voila find Amazing Designs works 4 me so far. *4U

I file them by site and subdivide. That turns out not to be practical if you are looking for a certain design. So I am now in the process of changing names of the design, f.i. giraffe 1234 by CuteEmb, more or less the same as sueffb1. Takes a while, so you'd better think up the way you want it before filing. Says I after thousands of downloads :-(

Gerry, I like to put the site name in the design name that way it is no problem to see where it is from. Example (Paisley RW lace 130807 bycuteemb.pes) then I file it in my paisley design folder. You are correct we can not remember if we do not keep that information somewhere. It is very difficult to remember where, when we have saved thousands of designs!!
