My grandaughter is a throwback from another era, she actually perfers cooking with a cast iron pan. The handle on that really gets hot so she wondered if I could make a pan holder for her. I remembered the panhandlers that DBS had but I didn't have enough fabric to make one of those. But using that design as a starting point and scraping together some fabric (my yellow fabric was literally some 1 in. strips) and a premade potholder that I had on hand I came up with this.I think that she will be delighted.
