My 5th quilt of 6, just 1 granddaughter left then they all have one. All very different and am possibly getting better at it but I stress I am not a quilter. This one has taken a long while. blood, sweat and tears, the back all rucked up so had to undo it all and start again. Just getting a bit past crawling around on the floor putting things together!

Very nice, you have taken on a hard task to quit it yourself, anything larger than a double I normally take into be quilted, doing it yourself you can enter them at shows and get all the credit. well done. three cheers for you

This is the first time I have been on site and am really impressed with your quilt.. I am also making quilts for my 5 granddaughters for their college graduation gifts. I have made 1 and am on my 2nd. The next 3 graduate a year apart, so you know what I'll be doing for the next 3 or 4 years. I make King size quilts. They are heirloom quilts, with embroidered pictures and dates of all important events in their lives. I just finished embroidering 26 squares and now I can start putting it together. I'll try and send pictures when it is finished. Someone has to tell me how to put a picture on this site. PLEASE!!! Have fun. Cathy

That's easily done. Click on the blue Upload your Project and the form let you fill in a title and info, next there is a field called Image, find your image and don't forget to click Upload, add tags, and when satisfied click Submit.

You can upload a picture in Q&A and Community in the same way.

Looking forward to seeing your quilt!

Oh boy, correct one mistake and quite a few intended spaces disappear making it worse!

Well meme07, let me be the first to give you your first flower! I hope all of your quilts turn out to be gorgeous especially as it's a mammoth effort to have to do 5 of them. Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia.
P.S. Good luck with the 6th one.

I too have 5 Granddaughters + 1 Grandson and have made all quilts for Christmas hopefully for them to care for and keep. Good luck with yours. I made 1 a year until this year when I am trying to do 3 only 1 to go.

I'm so glad it turned out so well! I remember it spread out on Scottie's dining table back in the spring.
